Curry Fish

Ingredients:
500 g fish (black pomfret cleaned and cut into 5 pieces)
200 g tomato (cut to wedges)
1 cup water
1/2 tbs tamarind juice
1 tsp salt
A:
60 g big onion (sliced)
26 g ginger/garlic (chopped)
4 tbs oil
1 spring curry leaves
1 1/2 tbs chilly powder
2 pip cardamon
2 cloves
1/4 tsp fenugreek
2 tsp coriander seeds (cardamon,cloves,fenugreek,coriander seeds, finely ground)
Method:
1.Combine ingredients A and fry in a pan with small fire,uncovered for 5 minutes.
2.Add in water,tamarind juice,salt,fish slices and tomato.
3.Cover and cook on power medium fire for about 7 minutes.
Makes:
4-6 servings
