Birth Day

To day maybe is my special day,what I mean special is because this is my husband birthday.....When I wake up this morning , I see the calender and there is a red remarks (I remarks it) and a note "hubby birthday" on it.

And suddenly I think I will cook a special recipe today,but when I look at my refrigerator there are no much I can cook.I have a chicken so I make a emperor chicken. It taste good and so simple.

And at night we go to have a dinner, yeah...today I eat so much...may be tomorrow I will cook a lot of vegetarian like salad.

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies.

Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat.He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body.

Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else.

Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons. Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

Drinking Water

Tonight I have to boil water to drink...yeah because I forgot to buy this evening.Usually I spend two gallon of ready drinking water.In my place it called Aqua water. After having blogging I want to drink and I realize that my drinking water in dispenser is empty.

It is so nice in United States, they always drink water directly ,no need to boil,but it can not in my place.

Many of my friend favorite Bollywood very much,I like too watch too.I like the way of the story ,excitement dancing and good singing. The actress is very beauty with the perfect body and when they dance it is a very amazing show for me.Sometimes I wonder to know how their body will be so nice ,may be it caused by every day dance.Dance is like a sport activity too.ha..ha..ha..
Usually I watch these in my home TV, but now there is a Bollywood site named Aaapka Video.I see that Aaapka have a lot and can be said largest collection of Bollywood film.

Almost all people having a acne problem,especially for teenagers. I remember my cousin,because he has a bad experience in this one. And he likes chocolate very much,eat burger,french fries and all the high fat food.

Last week my friend came to visit me with her 2,5 years son.It is so nice and cute to saw her baby.He can talk a little and very clever.I think I will give her baby a little gift but it must a good educated,so I think an Alphabet Fruit book may be fix to her son.

Gas

Oh...no....my friend will come and I am now preparing the food but what can I do now...not electric problem this time but my gas has been end.I cook use a gas and I want to buy it another one .And my problem is now is lunch time and no one come to my place for the gas that I have ordered.

Having child is a very great experience , we must take a lot of attention to their future. I remember when my sister's daughter live in my house a few years ago...She was about ten at that time, and I have to teach her every night to prepare her tomorrow school lesson.And I remember I have a difficult to teach her,cause I am not experienced.

My favorite soup

I like it very much but I hear that it is no good to eat much because we can get high cholesterol.After a while I take a cup of green tea...

Talking about drunk when drive ,it is a very dangerous thing.I remember my childhood best friend ( Any ) . Her father get an accident because he have attended his friend party and get drunk.

Seafood Porridge Special

Ingredients :

A :

100 g uncooked rice.

1700 ml water

150 g peanuts,presoaked and skin removed

50 g dried shredded cuttlefish

10 dried oysters

1-2 tbs preserved raddish,chopped

1-2 tbs cooking oil

B:

100 g thredfin /fish,thinly sliced

50 g shelled prawn,deveined

3 cm/pcs young ginger,shredded

1/2 - 1 tsp sesame oil

salt and pepper to taste

Garnishing :

1 stalk spring onion,sliced finely

1 stalk coriander leaves,sliced finely

2 tbs fried shallots.

Method with microwave :

1. Combine A together in a deep microwave safe casserole.

2. Cook covered on power high for 20-22 minutes and medium for 60-65 minutes.

3. Stir in ingredients B at 3/4 cooking time.

4. Serve with garnishing.

Makes : 4 - 6 servings

Fish Soup

Today I go to the market.Because I want to cook fish soup.

But unfortunately I can not wake up early.(wake up almost 9 o'clock) and when I went there the fish is not fresh,the eyes is red.

Lead is a chemical which causes Cancer.

1.Put lipstick on your hand.

2.Use a gold ring to scratch on the lipstick.

3.If the lipstick colour changes to black than you know the lipstick contain lead.

Oxtail soup

I love this oxtail soup ,in Indonesian name is sop buntut.But I can not find a good recipe to cook as good as I buy in my favorite place.

When I go to Singapore a few days ago, I try the "Sop Buntut" at there.

Wow...the taste is very good,it is unusual things that I can find Indonesian Food good taste at another country.

May be I want to cook again and find the recipe..

Come back from travelling

I already came back from my short travel to Singapore, it's a quite nice holiday , I have a lot of time to shopping and walking around the Esplenade , China Town , Bugis and a lots of interesting place. And the most exciting for me,I can try a lot of food that I haven't ate before.
